Our Community
The Rainbow Warrior Gathering is an annual, mission-driven retreat for initiated GBTQ+ brothers—a space to connect, recharge, celebrate, and do meaningful work together. We gather just outside Houston, conveniently located near Houston Intercontinental Airport, for four days and three nights of connection, play, depth, and Lover energy. This is time set apart from everyday life—time to be fully yourself in community.
Small Groups
Throughout the Roundup you'll be placed in a small group that meets daily after our main circle. The small groups are an opportunity to get to know other participants in a deep and meaningful way. The groups help to ensure the safety of our container by providing a more direct and continuing level of support and fellowship during the gathering.
Mindfulness
Amongst other workshops, every morning offers an opportunity to practice Yogo or Mediation facilitated by one of our member participants. We also have daily recovery meetings for participants current in in 12 step recovery programs and anyone interested in attending for their first stie.
Workshops
Throughout the Roundup, participants are invited to offer to facilitate workshops and experiential activities as gifts to the community. Past workshops have included, Painting, Writing, Journalling, Tantra, Sound Bath, Hypnosis, Social Nudity, Improv, and more. Skip as many as you want and enjoy the richness this weekend has to offer. Workshop space is limited, so plan in advance.
Dance Party
Our Friday night Dance Party offers a unique opportunity for community members to boogie down and let loose inside our safe, sober environment. Based on the year's theme, participants are encouraged to bring a costume or create one onsite with materials provided by the community. Come be yourself, cut a nasty rug, and smile and dance with brothers you love.
No-Talent Talent Show
Ever wonder what the stage lights feel like? Are you looking for a non-judgmental space to try something you've never done before? Sign-up for the No-Talent Talent Show before the slots fill up. Open to all, whether you've never performed in your life or if you've been kicking it on the stage for decades. It features heart-felt, hilarious, and breath-taking performances of all kinds- vocal, dance, comedy, improv, experimental, and more.
